After the opening day victory over Venezia, the White and Sky Blues lost to Udinese and drew with Milan before Monday's win. These results leave Baroni's side in 6th place with seven points heading into matchday 5's clash with Fiorentina.
The White and Sky Blues have picked up promising results in this fixture over the years, losing just two of the last 14 Serie A meetings between both teams. The visitors have also won more games and scored more goals against the Violets than they have done against any other team in Serie A.
However, after losing the last encounter between them, Lazio could lose consecutive Serie A games to Fiorentina for the first time since 2012-13. A 4-2-3-1 formation with Mattia Zaccagni in attack could be seen after first-choice striker Valentín Castellanos picked up a muscle injury in the win over Verona.
