Aston Villa aims to bounce back from their Europa Conference League heartbreak as they face third-placed Liverpool in a crucial top-four Premier League showdown at Villa Park on Monday night.

Aston Villa aim to move past their disappointing Europa Conference League exit as they face Liverpool on Monday night. After a 6-2 aggregate defeat to Olympiacos, including a 2-0 loss in the second leg of the semi-final, the Villans are eager to bounce back.
Returning to Premier League action, Aston Villa are looking to break a two-game winless streak. They are currently in 4th place with 67 points, having suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Brighton last weekend.
Historically, Villa have struggled against Liverpool, winning just once out of their last 12 Premier League meetings. That sole victory was a memorable 7-2 triumph at Villa Park in October 2020.

And Arsenal has to lose two games – difficult," Klopp said over Liverpool’s near-impossible chance of picking up the Premier League title.
