Son's Brace Inspires Tottenham Hotspur's Triumph Over Everton

Tottenham Hotspur got their first win of the season and are now on four points, while Everton have suffered two consecutive defeats after two rounds of fixtures.

In the Premier League showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the hosts clinched a resounding 4-0 victory over Everton.

The scoring was opened by Yves Bissouma in the 14th minute, with Dejan Kulusevski providing the assist.

Heung-min Son doubled the lead in the 25th minute, giving Tottenham a solid advantage.

It took until the 71st minute for Cristian Romero to further extend the lead, assisted by James Maddison.

Heung-min Son struck again in the 77th minute, this time with an assist from Micky van de Ven, sealing the commanding win for Tottenham.

Bissouma's goal was notable as it followed his one-game suspension after he was seen inhaling laughing gas. Ange Postecolglou told Sky Sports, "It's a start. But he still has work to do. There's no doubting his quality. But we want to make him the best version of himself; that starts with off-field as much as on-field."

Up next for Tottenham Hotspur are fixtures against Newcastle United on 1 September, Arsenal on 15 September, and Brentford (home) on 21 September. Everton will face AFC Bournemouth on 31 August, Aston Villa on 14 September, and have an away game against Leicester City on 21 September.
