Saturday Feat: Torino Triumphs Over Milan
Torino delivered a stellar performance at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Saturday, clinching a solid 3-1 win against Milan in the Serie A.
Torino started the match on the front foot, with Duván Zapata finding the net after 26 minutes, assisted by Ricardo Rodríguez, making it 1-0.
In the 40th minute, Ivan Ilić increased the lead for Torino with an assist from Raoul Bellanova. Straight after the break, Ricardo Rodríguez extended the advantage once more, consolidating Torino's dominant position.
Torino have now recorded two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five games, scoring five and conceding four.
Meanwhile, Milan have one win and two draws, with ten goals for and nine against during the same period.
In total, Torino have netted 36 goals in the Serie A, with an equal split of 18 each at home and away. Milan have scored an impressive 73 goals, with 35 at home and 38 on their travels.
Torino's next Serie A match is against Atalanta (away) on 26th May, while Milan will play Salernitana (home) on the same day.
Elsewhere in the Serie A, Fiorentina drew 2-2 against Napoli, and Atalanta secured a 2-0 victory over Lecce.
