Dumfries' Equalizer Earns Inter a Point in Draw with Lazio
Lazio led 1-0 at half-time in their Serie A away game against Inter, courtesy of Daichi Kamada's goal. However, Inter clawed their way back into the game in the second half, with Denzel Dumfries scoring the equalizer. The match finished 1-1.
The match was even in terms of goals until Inter took the lead in the 32nd minute through Daichi Kamada, who netted with an assist by Nicolò Rovella.
The equaliser came in the final minutes, when Denzel Dumfries found the net for Inter, with an assist by Alexis Sánchez.
The result saw Lazio extend their unbeaten run to six games. Inter have now won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games. Meanwhile, Lazio have three wins and two draws.
Inter have scored 87 goals in total in Serie A: 44 at home and 43 away. Lazio have netted 48 times: 22 goals at home and 26 on their travels.
Inter's next Serie A games are against Hellas Verona (away) on 26 May. Lazio will face Sassuolo (home) on the same day.
Elsewhere in Serie A, Fiorentina drew 2-2 against Napoli, Atalanta won 2-0 against Lecce, Torino defeated Milan 3-1. Cagliari triumphed 2-0 against Sassuolo, Frosinone picked up a narrow 1-0 victory against Monza, Udinese drew 1-1 with Empoli, and Roma edged past Genoa with a 1-0 win.
