Udinese has bounced back in Serie A, clinching a vital 2-0 win over Lecce to end their seven-game drought and return to the winning column.
The match was balanced until Lecce took the lead in the 36th minute through Lorenzo Lucca, who netted with an assist by Martín Payero.
With five minutes left to play, Lecce's Lazar Samardžić increased the lead as he found the net.
Lecce have now won two, drawn two, and lost one of their last five games, scoring six goals and conceding four. Meanwhile, Udinese have one win and two draws, with five goals for and five against.
