Leipzig now boasts a three-point advantage over FC Bayern München, while SC Freiburg sits third in the league.

The match began with SC Freiburg taking an early lead, thanks to Ritsu Doan's goal in the 15th minute, assisted by Vincenzo Grifo. However, RB Leipzig showcased their resilience as W. Orbán leveled the score shortly after halftime.

Leipzig seized control in the 58th minute when L. Geertruida found the net, assisted by L. Openda, to put them in the lead. The comeback was sealed when L. Openda further extended Leipzig’s advantage with a goal in the 79th minute, courtesy of an assist from André Silva.

This victory means RB Leipzig remains unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season, maintaining a strong run of form across eight matches.
