PSV Emerges Victorious in Grueling Contest Against Heracles Almelo

PSV lagged behind in their away match against Heracles Almelo in the Eredivisie. However, the team reversed the course to win with a thrilling 3-1 comeback.

Heracles Almelo stunned PSV early on when Brian De Keersmaecker scored a penalty in the fifth minute. The 1-1 equaliser came through an own-goal in the 52nd minute, breathing new life into PSV's chances.

With 59 minutes on the clock, PSV's Johan Bakayoko found the net following a brilliant assist from Luuk de Jong, giving PSV the crucial lead. The final blow came in stoppage time when Couhaib Driouech netted for PSV, assisted by Guus Til, to seal the comeback victory.

Looking ahead, Heracles Almelo will face Willem II at home on 25 August, then PEC Zwolle away on 1 September, and finally Almere City at home on 15 September. Meanwhile, PSV will travel to Almere City on 24 August, host Go Ahead Eagles on 1 September, and play NEC at home on 14 September.
