The deciding goal came in stoppage time when André Zambo Anguissa scored for Napoli, with an assist by David Neres, to complete Napoli's comeback.

Napoli's equaliser arrived during extra time when Romelu Lukaku netted, assisted by Leonardo Spinazzola.
Parma's Zion Suzuki was sent off in the 75th minute, dealing a blow to their defensive efforts.
Lukaku's debut goal for Napoli is significant, especially with Victor Osimhen out of the squad. Director of Sport Giovanni Manna commented, "Victor expressed his absolute desire to not stay at Napoli. At this moment, we maintain the same consistency we had since the start: he expressed the desire to no longer play for Napoli, and so we made other choices."
Napoli's victory places them in sixth position on the table, while Parma sits in ninth.
