Lazio and Milan Settle for Honors in Pulsating Clash

In a pulsating Serie A duel, Lazio entertained Milan, sharing the points in a captivating 2-2 draw.

Milan started the match best and took the lead when Strahinja Pavlović netted in the 8th minute, with an assist by Christian Pulišić, making it 1-0.

With 62 minutes on the clock, Lazio's Valentin Castellanos found the net following a Nuno Tavares assist to equalise.

Shortly after, Lazio made it 2-1 in the 66th minute, when Boulaye Dia struck, again with an assist by Nuno Tavares.

Rafael Leão rescued Milan just six minutes later, equalising at 2-2 with an assist by Tammy Abraham, who was making his Milan debut.

Both Abraham and Leão had an immediate impact off the bench, setting up an exciting end to the match. "I thought we had a good first half because we controlled the ball," said Milan manager Fonseca. "The second half was totally different. We allowed Lazio to play because we stopped trying to play ourselves," he added.

Lazio move on to face Hellas Verona on 16 September, Fiorentina on 22 September, and Torino (away) on 29 September. Milan's upcoming fixtures are against Venezia on 14 September, Inter on 22 September, and Lecce (home) on 29 September.

Currently, Lazio are in eighth place, while Milan sit in 14th place. Excitement is sure to continue in the upcoming matches!
