As the momentum shifted, SC Freiburg took the lead in the 54th minute with Ritsu Doan scoring, thanks to an assist by Vincenzo Grifo. With 61 minutes on the clock, Lukas Kübler struck again, following another Vincenzo Grifo assist, to seal the comeback and secure the win for SC Freiburg.
