The first-half goal from González was the only goal of the game as Mallorca secured a 1-0 home victory over Las Palmas in La Liga.
The match remained goalless until just before the half-hour mark when Giovanni González found the net, thanks to an assist from Jaume Costa, giving Mallorca the crucial lead.
This defeat marks eight consecutive losses for Las Palmas. In contrast, Mallorca celebrated their first victory after five games without a win.
Over their last five matches, Mallorca have won one, drawn one, and lost three, scoring three goals and conceding five. Meanwhile, Las Palmas have managed to score just one goal while conceding eleven during the same period.
In other La Liga action, Deportivo Alavés drew 2-2 against Girona, Villarreal edged Sevilla with a 3-2 victory, and Real Madrid cruised to a 4-0 win over Granada.
