Girona clinched a stunning victory over Osasuna in Thursday's La Liga showdown at home. Initially leading 1-0, Girona showcased resilience and determination to secure a thrilling 4-0 win.
The match remained goalless until the 34th minute when Bryan Gil broke the deadlock, thanks to an assist from V. Tsyhankov. Straight after the break, Tsyhankov himself scored, increasing Girona's lead.
With 56 minutes on the clock, Girona's Abel Ruiz found the net following a pin-point assist from Y. Herrera to further extend their advantage. Not content with a three-goal lead, Girona put the game beyond doubt as C. Stuani netted in the 90th minute, with an assist by D. van de Beek.
