Kai Havertz further capitalized by scoring a penalty in the 45th minute, sealing a strong 3-0 lead before the break. In the second half, Niclas Füllkrug added to the scoreline in the 68th minute, showcasing Germany's attacking prowess.

An unfortunate own goal for Scotland in the 87th minute took the game to 4-1. As the match drew to a close, Emre Can netted Germany's fifth, assisted by Thomas Müller, to round off a convincing win.
