An even game saw Fiorentina just edge out Cagliari away in Serie A on Thursday. The match finished 3-2 to Fiorentina.

The game was even in terms of goals until Cagliari took the lead in the 39th minute through Giacomo Bonaventura, who netted with an assist from Gaetano Castrovilli.

With 64 minutes on the clock, Cagliari's Alessandro Deiola found the net following a Matteo Prati assist to equalise. It looked like Cagliari were going to secure a win for most of the game.

However, with only five minutes left to play, Cagliari's K. Mutandwa took the lead with an assist from Nahitan Nández. The equaliser came right at the end of the game when Nicolás González scored for Fiorentina, assisted by Cristiano Biraghi.

After two periods, the game was even at 2-2, but in the third, Fiorentina stepped it up and clinched the win.
