FC Bayern München Claims Top Spot in League After Victory Against Holstein Kiel
FC Bayern München clinched a dominant 6-1 away win at Holstein-Stadion against Holstein Kiel, propelling them to the summit of the Bundesliga table after three games played. They now hold a two-point lead over Borussia Dortmund, with Holstein Kiel positioned in 18th place.
FC Bayern München were quickest out of the blocks and went 1-0 up when Jamal Musiala netted in the first minute, thanks to an assist from Harry Kane. In the 7th minute, Kane increased the lead for Bayern, finishing from a Serge Gnabry assist.
The 0-3 came from an own-goal in the 13th minute. Harry Kane made it 4-0 just before halftime, netting in the 43rd minute with an assist from Kingsley Coman.
In the 65th minute, Michael Olise further increased Bayern’s lead. With eight minutes left to play, Holstein Kiel's Armin Gigović pulled one back, off an assist by Tymoteusz Puchacz.
The 6-1 goal came in stoppage time as Harry Kane completed his hat-trick. It was a comprehensive performance from Bayern München.
