Ludogorets almost held off Qarabağ at home in the Champions League, but the away side needed extra time to secure a 7-2 win.

The match kicked off with an early strike by Juninho for Qarabağ in the 7th minute, making it 1-0. Ludogorets quickly responded, equalising in the 13th minute when Kwadwo Duah found the net.

Duah was on fire, giving Ludogorets the lead again with a penalty in the 23rd minute. However, Qarabağ fought back, equalising 2-2 just before half-time with a penalty from Yassine Benzia.

Right before the half-time whistle, Qarabağ took the lead through Patrick Andrade, with an assist by Yassine Benzia, making it 3-2. In the final minutes, Toral Bayramov extended the lead to 4-2, assisted by Abdellah Zoubir.

The excitement continued in extra time. Qarabağ added a fifth goal when Redon Xhixha scored in the 110th minute, followed quickly by a sixth from Patrick Andrade, assisted by Nəriman Axundzadə, in the 112th minute.

Finally, Yassine Benzia sealed the deal, scoring the seventh goal with an assist by Júlio Romão, ensuring a 7-2 victory for Qarabağ. The previous clash between these teams ended in a 2-1 win for Ludogorets on away soil, but this time, Qarabağ turned the tables spectacularly.
