In their opening game of Euro 2024, England clinched a 1-0 victory at the Veltins-Arena over Serbia. The match began with England on the front foot as Jude Bellingham found the net after just 13 minutes, thanks to an assist from Bukayo Saka, putting England ahead 1-0.

Despite managing only one shot on target for the entire game, Serbia appeared most threatening after substitutes Dusan Tadic and Milan's Luka Jovic entered the fray.
