Tuesday's Champions League fixture saw Dynamo Kyiv triumph over Partizan in a captivating home encounter. With an initial lead of 3-1, Dynamo Kyiv extended their advantage to secure a 6-2 victory.
Partizan scored the first goal when Matheus Saldanha made his mark with a penalty after 22 minutes, making it 1-0.
Dynamo Kyiv equalised just before the half-time whistle as Mykola Shaparenko netted with an assist by Vladyslav Kabaev. Moments later, Dynamo seized the lead with a strike from Volodymyr Brazhko.
Dynamo Kyiv increased the lead to 3-1 just two minutes later as Oleksandr Karavaev scored, thanks to an assist by Vladyslav Vanat.
In the 55th minute, Vladyslav Kabaev extended Dynamo Kyiv's lead with an assist by Volodymyr Brazhko. Although Saldanha managed to pull one back for Partizan in the 66th minute with an assist by Zubairu Ibrahim, it proved to be too little, too late.
With seven minutes left to play, Denys Popov strengthened Dynamo Kyiv's position with an assist by Nazar Voloshyn. The 6-2 result was sealed in stoppage time when Oleksandr Pikhalyonok scored, assisted once again by Nazar Voloshyn, completing Dynamo Kyiv's commanding comeback.
