A football drama unfolded at Vitesse as they entertained Ajax in the Eredivisie, with the clash concluding in an exhilarating 2-2 draw.

Vitesse started the match best and took the lead when Amine Boutrah netted after 15 minutes, thanks to an assist from Gyan de Regt, making it 1-0.

K. Kozłowski gave Vitesse the lead again in the 78th minute, assisted by Thomas Buitink.

However, the drama didn't end there. In stoppage time, Steven Berghuis scored the crucial equaliser for Ajax.

Vitesse have scored 30 goals in total in the Eredivisie, split evenly between home and away matches. Ajax, on the other hand, have netted 74 goals overall, with 39 at home and 35 away.
