But Eintracht Frankfurt was not to be denied. Omar Marmoush gave them the lead again in the 65th minute. Tuta then sealed the deal with a goal in the 74th minute, assisted by Marmoush.

Looking ahead, Holstein Kiel faces challenging fixtures against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on 5 October, FC Union Berlin on 20 October, and an away game against VfB Stuttgart on 26 October.
