Arsenal Keeps Clean Sheet in Victory Against Aston Villa

After two games, Aston Villa have three points while Arsenal have won both their games so far.

Arsenal delivered an impressive performance, netting two goals while keeping a clean sheet against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League. The match concluded with a commanding 2-0 victory for the away side.

The first half finished 0-0, and it took until the 67th minute before Leandro Trossard netted to give Arsenal the lead.

Thomas Partey increased Arsenal's lead with an assist by Bukayo Saka in the 77th minute.

"You have to accept Arsenal; they are more experienced, more mature," Villa manager Unai Emery said after the game, having failed to steer Villa to three consecutive victories over Arsenal following last season's double.

"They are strong; the last two years they have been very competitive in the Premier League, contenders in top four, and even to win the Premier League. Today was a test for us to understand who we are," he added.

The next Premier League games for Aston Villa are Leicester City (away) on 31 August, Aston Villa (home) on 14 September, and Wolverhampton Wanderers (home) on 21 September.
