Ante Budimir and Aimar Oroz settled the score at home against Las Palmas

Osasuna claimed a hard-fought win against Las Palmas in La Liga on Saturday, emerging victorious with a 2-1 scoreline at Estadio El Sadar.

The action began in earnest when Ante Budimir broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, giving Osasuna a crucial lead.

Las Palmas quickly responded, with Alberto Moleiro equalising just before half-time, thanks to a deft assist from Sandro Ramírez.

As the second half wore on, it was Aimar Oroz who became the hero for Osasuna, netting what proved to be the decisive goal in the 60th minute after a brilliant setup by Rubén García.

This result marked Las Palmas' sixth consecutive game without a win, leaving them at the bottom of the table in 20th place. Osasuna, meanwhile, sit comfortably in seventh place.

Looking ahead, Osasuna's upcoming fixtures include Valencia (away) on 24 September, Athletic Club (home) on 28 September, and Getafe (away) on 5 October. Las Palmas will face Real Betis (home) on 26 September, Villarreal (away) on 30 September, and Celta de Vigo (home) on 5 October.
