Ajax Secures Convincing Win Over Fortuna Sittard in Home Fixture

At home to Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie on Wednesday, Ajax's clinical display saw them secure a dominant 5-0 win.

Ajax started the match best and took the lead early when Kenneth Taylor netted after 9 minutes, with an assist by Bertrand Traoré, making it 1-0.

In the 24th minute, Bertrand Traoré increased the lead for Ajax with an assist by Chuba Akpom.

Fortuna Sittard's Rodrigo Guth was sent off in the 45th minute, putting his team in further trouble.

With 58 minutes on the clock, Ajax's Youri Baas found the net following a Jorrel Hato assist to increase their lead.

Devyne Rensch made it 4-0 in the 71st minute with help from Davy Klaassen.

Ajax further increased their dominance as Chuba Akpom found the net, assisted by Jorrel Hato, in the 87th minute.

The result means Ajax are now in seventh place in the table, while Fortuna Sittard sit 11th in the league.
